Nisha & Luke

Luke and Nisha met in 2007, but did not date until after they began college in 2011. While Luke knew two weeks into their relationship Nisha was the one, it took Nisha a little longer. One night while watching a Kevin Hart skit it hit her, that Luke would be her forever.

April 1, 2015 before Nisha's college commencement, Luke drove from Hampton University to George Mason University to propose to her. You better believe Nisha said, "I do," after giving him a ribbing of proposing in her dorm room. Luke will always be a hero in my book. Luke is currently a pharmacist at a popular grocery chain and Nisha is a pre-health academic advisory at a local university.

August 31, 2017 they said their vows at Noah's Event Venue, Chesapeake, Virginia. The colors of eggplant and champagne gave the wedding a feeling of class and simple elegance.

The weather was phenomenal for late August during the height of an especially busy hurricane season in Hampton Roads. It went off without a hitch thanks to my vendor team. Noah's onsite coordinator. Malcolm, prepped the venue beautifully with eggplant and taupe satin pintuck tablecloths, hanging Edison bulbs and a crystal chandelier in the ceremony arch. Mayah's talent for makeup fit the bride and her courts style. I cannot praise Kay De Lane Photography and her assistant for the wonderful photographs. DJ Cory C of Astro Entertainment for the music and photo booth. Cory keeps the party going all night. Traditions Catering for their friendly bar service. Beach Bully for the chicken fried on the spot, brisket, pulled pork and other southern staples, Diana's Sweet tooth for the three tier buttercream cake. I cannot forget my assistants for always assisting me in making our couples day a more enjoyable one.
